Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

The history of Lobstering is fascinating. For example, did you know that the number of pounds of lobster landed in Maine in one year (2014) was 124 million pounds, 123 million pounds (2013); that there are over 3 million traps in Maine waters, ; the cost of a fully equipped lobster boat is approx $200,000. IF you are interested I suggest you go to the Wikipedia site and read it rather then my trying to summarize it here. You may also want to google threats to the lobster industry I think you will find many surprises as did I. For example, in the 1800's lobsters were often gathered to fertilize fields or to feed prisoners and slaves. They were not considered to be the expensive delicacy they are today. In my recent trip to Booth Bay Maine, I talked to some older folks who had lived there for over 40 years and they described the progressive decline in the industry due to global warming and over harvesting.
