I took some photos the other morning of water drops after the sprinklers as they stayed on the grass--finally a cool and foggy morning without wind. I was going to post the photograph but somehow it inspired me to paint over it completely and make it into something totally different: a clown with giant tear drops and reflections everywhere plus the blade of grass is still there with some of the water drops, also reflecting in a little pool of water below. It is an abstract painting of just feelings and no logic so don't even look for one. I suppose this was the first day in Southern California when it felt like Halloween is just around the corner.
